Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah rebutted allegations from BJP leaders accusing the state of financial decline under the present government, asserting that Karnataka's economy remains solid despite previous mismanagement during BJP's tenure.
He highlighted the stark contrast in economic performance, showing an 18.3% average budget growth over the past two years compared to 5% under BJP's rule. Siddaramaiah also cited impressive tax revenue growth and strong fiscal discipline.
Criticizing BJP's economic narratives for political gains, the CM pointed out the successful attraction of Rs 10.27 lakh crore in investments during Invest Karnataka. He also accused Prime Minister Modi's policies of destabilizing state finances and called for unity in serving Karnataka's people.
