Stovekraft Limited, a leading name in India's kitchen appliance and cookware industry, has praised the Government's revised Goods and Services Tax (GST) framework. According to the company, the changes make essential kitchen items more affordable and provide a substantial boost to the sector, particularly during the festive season.
The revised GST rates will see significant reductions on various household products. Items such as pressure cookers, a comprehensive range of cookware, stainless steel utensils, and single-wall water bottles have been moved to a lower tax bracket. For example, cookware previously subjected to a 12% GST will now be taxed at just 5%, offering tangible savings for households.
Stovekraft's Managing Director, Rajendra Gandhi, confirmed that the company aims to ensure these savings reach consumers. Stovekraft's strategy focuses on making reliable kitchen solutions accessible and affordable, enhancing the overall kitchenware sector while encouraging more inclusive festive celebrations across India.
