Havells to Boost Washing Machine Production in Rajasthan

Havells India Ltd announced plans to expand its washing machine manufacturing capacity in Rajasthan. The expansion will increase output by 1.5 lakh units annually by December 2026, with an investment of Rs 60 crore. Funded internally, this move aims to meet growing market demand.

Havells India Ltd, a leading consumer electrical goods maker, has announced an expansion at its Ghiloth unit in Rajasthan to increase its washing machine manufacturing capacity. By December 2026, the capacity is set to rise by 1.5 lakh units annually, requiring an investment of Rs 60 crore.

The Ghiloth facility currently produces 6.8 lakh units per annum and operates at 52% capacity utilization based on the production volume of H1 FY26, according to a regulatory filing by Havells India Ltd. The proposed capacity addition will further bolster the facility's output.

This strategic move is designed to cater to growing market demands and will encompass the entire range of washing machines. Havells India Ltd also confirmed that the expansion would be funded through its internal accruals, emphasizing its commitment to enhancing production capabilities.
