Nissan, the Japanese automotive giant, has announced a strategic expansion in the Indian market with plans to launch three new models within the next 14-16 months. The new lineup features the seven-seater Gravite, set to debut in early 2026. The company's strategy aims to bolster its market presence.
As part of its growth plan, Nissan will expand its sales network from 155 to 250 outlets by the end of the financial year. This move underscores India's significance as both a strategic market and a manufacturing hub for Nissan, facilitating exports to South Asia, the Middle East, Africa, and Latin America.
According to Nissan AMIEO Chairperson Massimiliano Messina, India continues to be a vital contributor to Nissan's global performance. The company's commitment to the dynamic Indian market is reflected in its new product lineup, developed specifically for Indian consumers with an eye on international exports.
