In a heart-wrenching incident in Maharashtra's Beed district, two young men were killed on Saturday night when an unidentified vehicle struck their motorcycle. The collision took place near the Padalsingi flyover on the Dhule-Solapur national highway.
The victims, named Abhijit Subhash Rathod and Abhijit Eknath Pawar, both aged 23, were returning to their village after a shopping trip in Beed when the tragedy occurred. Authorities released their identities following the incident.
The police have announced an ongoing investigation to determine the identity of the vehicle involved in the lethal accident, appealing to the public for any information that might assist in solving the case.
