The state of Kerala is gearing up to host the second edition of the Global Travel Market (GTM) 2026, a significant event for travel and tourism, scheduled to begin on June 3. The gathering is expected to draw more than 1,000 domestic and international tour operators along with over 300 corporate buyers.

Organized by the South Kerala Hoteliers Forum, Thiruvananthapuram Chamber of Commerce and Industries, and various partners, this event is set to promote business partnerships and networking opportunities in the tourism sector. Scheduled activities include a diverse range of business-to-business meetings, networking sessions, and exhibitions focusing on tourism circuits, wellness tourism, Ayurveda, and travel technology.

Commencing with an inaugural function in Kovalam, the proceedings will extend to a B2B travel expo with over 200 stalls in Neyyattinkara, showcasing regional and international tourism products and services. Attendees include notable figures from the Indian tourism ministry and representatives from Sri Lanka and several Indian states.

The expo will also provide a public opening on June 5, allowing local communities to engage with various tourism offerings and explore potential collaborations. Organizers hope the event will be a platform for stakeholders to explore new opportunities and showcase Kerala's tourism potential.
