Ukrainian Drones Strike Russian Industrial Sites

In Russia's Samara region, Ukrainian drones attacked an industrial facility and a warehouse belonging to Ozon, a leading online retailer. The strikes led to injuries and halted operations at Ozon's logistics centre in Chapayevsk. This incident follows previous attacks on Russia's economic infrastructure.

In a bold overnight assault, Ukrainian drones targeted multiple sites in Russia's Samara region, according to Governor Vyacheslav Fedorishchev. Notably, an industrial facility and a warehouse owned by Ozon, a prominent Russian online retailer, were struck, causing injuries and operational disruptions.

The attacks resulted in the temporary shutdown of Ozon's logistics centre in Chapayevsk. This strike marks the first on Ozon, amid an aggressive campaign impacting its rival, Wildberries. These infrastructure hits are part of Ukraine's strategy against entities underpinning Russia's military efforts.

The Russian Defence Ministry reported intercepting 457 Ukrainian drones in the recent flurry of strikes, as tensions continue to escalate between the two nations.
