Germany says Chinese subsidy discussions should fall under WTO

Germany wants discussions about Chinese subsidies and the issue of overcapacity to be held under the auspices of the World Trade Organization (WTO), a government spokesperson said on Friday.

"It is important that we establish common processes and standards here. The chancellor made it clear in Beijing that this is a necessary step forward that we need to achieve," said the spokesperson.
