MAHE's 33rd Convocation: Embracing AI and Innovation in Education
Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) celebrated its 33rd Convocation in Bengaluru where 746 students were conferred degrees, including 12 PhD graduates. Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) marked a significant milestone with the first day of its 33rd Convocation celebrations at its Bengaluru campus. A total of 746 students graduated, including 12 PhD recipients, while three outstanding students received the prestigious Dr. TMA Pai Gold Medal for their academic excellence.
The event underscored MAHE's mission to ready graduates for a future dominated by AI and technological advancements. Chief Guest Ms. Rajkamal Vempati, from Axis Bank, addressed the uncertainties in the job market, stressing the importance of human skills in an AI-rich landscape.
MAHE's roadmap for academic progress includes pioneering facilities in quantum computing and next-gen communication and initiatives to foster innovation. The university aims to expand its academic collaborations globally while continuing to support startups and industry partnerships through its incubation centers.
