The Indian Air Force's multinational exercise 'Tarang Shakti' kicked off this Tuesday, bringing together air force units from Germany, France, and other countries. The event showcases advanced fighters and various aircraft in complex simulated scenarios.
These scenarios include electronic warfare and networked environments, with six types of IAF aircraft flying alongside Eurofighter Typhoons and Rafales. Chief of the Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal VR Chaudhari, emphasized the challenges and objectives of the exercise in enhancing operational readiness without common data links.
This marks the first such extensive exercise by the IAF in six decades, highlighting India's growing international defense partnerships. The exercise aims to foster mutual cooperation, with participation from Germany, Spain, France, and the UK, running until August 13th.
