Jaishankar Engages with Kuwait Crown Prince to Strengthen Bilateral Ties

The visit follows a tragic fire incident in Kuwait that claimed 45 Indian lives.
External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar held discussions with Kuwait's Crown Prince, Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Sabah, aimed at strengthening bilateral ties.
Jaishankar arrived for a day-long visit and was greeted by Kuwaiti counterpart Abdullah Ali Al-Yahya. The minister conveyed greetings from India's leadership and highlighted the steady expansion of the India-Kuwait partnership.
The visit allowed both nations to review their multifaceted relations, touching upon political, trade, energy, and cultural aspects. Notably, this meeting comes two months after a tragic fire in Kuwait claimed the lives of 45 Indians.
