AEPC and SECL Join Forces to Empower 400 with Skills Training
The Apparel Export Promotion Council (AEPC) has partnered with South Eastern Coalfield Ltd (SECL) to provide skills training for 400 individuals from economically weaker sections. The initiative will involve setting up training centers in Chattisgarh and offering courses in tailoring and apparel manufacturing.

The Apparel Export Promotion Council (AEPC) announced a significant partnership with South Eastern Coalfield Ltd (SECL) to boost skill development among economically weaker sections. The collaboration aims to equip 400 candidates with vital skills for employment.
Under the agreement, AEPC's Apparel Training and Design Centre (AITDC) will establish training facilities in Bishrampur, Sohagpur, and Korba district in Chattisgarh. These centers will focus on providing practical skills with support for residential training at the ATDC Chhindwara Campus in Madhya Pradesh.
The program targets 300 candidates to learn the self-employed tailor (SET) course and another 100 candidates to receive training in apparel manufacturing technology, directly addressing the need for employable skills in the sector.
