Transforming Heritage: New Luxury Hotels Planned for Lucknow and Mirzapur
An MoU has been signed to develop Roshan-ud-Daulah, Chhatar Manzil, and Chunar Fort into luxury heritage hotels. Using the Suryagarh Jaisalmer model, this initiative aims to preserve architectural heritage while promoting tourism. Under the PPP model, heritage tourism is flourishing, backed by supportive policies.

A memorandum of understanding was signed on Wednesday by the Tourism Department and Golden Triangle Fort and Palace Private Limited to develop Roshan-ud-Daulah, Chhatar Manzil in Lucknow, and Chunar Fort in Mirzapur into luxury heritage hotels.
Following the successful Suryagarh Jaisalmer model, these sites will transform into opulent destinations while maintaining their historical essence. Jaiveer Singh, Tourism and Culture Minister, announced that a public-private partnership will oversee this endeavor, marking an expansion in heritage tourism.
The initiative is part of the state's focused strategy to boost tourism, offering investor-friendly policies that encourage the development of forts, palaces, and other cultural landmarks.
