Sikandar Lights Up the Big Screen in Kashmir: A Cinematic Revival

Salman Khan's blockbuster 'Sikandar' is set for a simultaneous release in Kashmir's towns like Shopian and Pulwama, thanks to Citara's initiative, backed by filmmakers Tutu Sharma and Rahul Nehra. This effort aims to revive cinema culture in the region, with further expansion planned for more towns.

Salman Khan's latest blockbuster, 'Sikandar,' is gearing up for a grand release in Kashmir, covering key regions such as Shopian, Pulwama, Handwara, and Baramulla, as an Eid gift to the local populace.

Backed by Citara, the film's release is helmed by notable industry figures Tutu Sharma and Rahul Nehra, alongside illustrious personalities such as Padmini Kolhapure, Padma Bhushan Shobana, and Uttam Kumar. The initiative, inspired by the Hon'ble LG of Kashmir, Shri Manoj Sinha, aims to reinvigorate the cinema-going culture in Northern and Southern Kashmir.

This cinematic venture is set to extend beyond the current release, with plans to bring classics and first-day showings to other Kashmiri towns, signifying a broader cultural rejuvenation in the region as cited by Citara's founder Tutu Sharma and Managing Director Rahul Nehra.
