In an eagerly anticipated return, a group of 36 pilgrims has arrived in Gangtok, Sikkim, marking the start of their journey for the Kailash Manasarovar Yatra after a six-year pause. Officials confirmed that the pilgrims moved to the 17 Mile area on Monday for acclimatization to ensure their safety.

The pilgrimage, a revered spiritual journey, will see the travelers proceed through the Nathu La pass, crossing into Tibet's Shigatse city before reaching their ultimate destinations at Mount Kailash and Lake Manasarovar. On June 20, they are set to cross the India-China border, a key milestone in their journey.
