Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Chhattisgarh on Saturday to commemorate the state's 25th anniversary, unveiling development projects worth over Rs 14,000 crore across healthcare, infrastructure, and energy sectors.
The visit begins with Modi interacting with 2,500 children treated for congenital heart diseases under the 'Dil ki Baat' program at a Nava Raipur hospital. He will inaugurate 'Shanti Shikhar', a center for spiritual learning by the Brahma Kumaris, and unveil a statue of former PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee at the Green Building-inspired Chhattisgarh Vidhansabha.
Central to his visit are infrastructure advancements, including the launch of developmental projects worth Rs 14,260 crore, opening of 12 Start-Up Village Entrepreneurship Programme blocks, and participation in Chhattisgarh Rajat Mahotsav, celebrating the state's formation. Modi aims to improve connectivity and regional trade through highway projects while enhancing power stability with energy sector initiatives.
