The historic Red Fort in Delhi is currently the stage for a significant UNESCO gathering focused on safeguarding intangible cultural heritage. Notably, a model of the Boeing 747, dubbed 'Shahjehan' from Air India's famed 'Emperor' fleet, greets the international delegates attending this prestigious event.
This striking aircraft model is showcased alongside an array of prized artefacts from Air India's 'Maharaja Collection', housed in newly curated galleries. These were organized by the National Gallery of Modern Art (NGMA) following the privatization of Air India, marking the event held in India for the first time.
