Punjab's Pioneers: Female Cadets Soar into Indian Air Force

In a significant milestone, Charanpreet Kaur and Mehak Dahiya, both alumni of a Punjab armed forces preparatory institute, have soared into the Indian Air Force as Flying Officers. They were part of the 244 cadets, passing out from the Air Force Academy, Hyderabad on Saturday, witnessed by top military officials.
Their commendable achievement comes after rigorous training at the academy and is seen as a beacon of inspiration for young women in Punjab. Both Kaur and Dahiya have been appointed to critical branches within the Air Force, promising careers ahead.
Punjab's Employment Generation Minister Aman Arora and other officials praised their success, which aligns with the state's initiatives, including a new NDA Preparatory Wing for girls, aimed at empowering women to pursue careers in defense.
