An 8-member delegation from the Bangladesh Navy Operational Sea Training Group (BNOSTG) visited the headquarters of the Sea Training here to witness Operational Sea Training at the Southern Naval Command. As part of the orientation training, an interactive session along with practical classes on seamanship, fire-fighting, damage-control, first aid and safety at sea were also conducted, the Indian Navy said. The interactive sessions also provided an opportunity to exchange the best practices followed, the Navy said in a release. The BNOSTG visited various training facilities and simulators under SNC which provided a professional insight into Operational Sea Training. The visit re-emphasises Indian Navy being the preferred training destination, adopting evolving tactics and technologies, the release said.
