Crude oil futures slip on low demand

Crude oil futures on Thursday declined 0.67 per cent to Rs 5,800 per barrel as participants trimmed their positions on low demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude oil for April delivery fell Rs 39 or 0.67 per cent to Rs 5,800 per barrel in a business volume of 8,977 lots.
Globally, West Texas Intermediate crude oil fell 0.85 per cent to USD 70.30 per barrel, and Brent crude was down by 0.69 per cent to USD 76.16 per barrel in New York.
