Although the Dow Jones Industrial Average dropped by 26.18 points, or 0.07%, opening at 39,695.18, other indices showed strength.
The S&P 500 opened up by 1.30 points, or 0.02%, at 5,635.21, while the Nasdaq Composite saw an increase of 11.80 points, or 0.06%, reaching 18,659.25. Additionally, the small-cap Russell 2000 experienced a significant 2% gain, reflecting positive market sentiment.
