PM Modi Emphasizes Collaborative Governance for a Developed India

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday emphasized the importance of coordinated efforts between central and state governments to achieve the goal of a developed India. Speaking at the BJP Chief Ministers' Council meeting, Modi stressed the significance of heritage conservation and creating a legacy of development. The two-day meeting concluded on Sunday.

Under the BJP's good governance agenda, these council meetings are held regularly, with this being the second such meeting this year. Discussions focused on boosting the country's economy to USD 5 trillion, enhancing public participation in development programs, and leveraging social media to expand the reach of government initiatives. Notable attendees included BJP national president Jagat Prakash Nadda, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, and Home Minister Amit Shah.

During the inaugural address on Saturday, Nadda highlighted the benefits of these meetings, including gaining insights from senior leaders, exchanging experiences, and reinforcing the drive to achieve better governance. Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan discussed the role of state governments in implementing the new education policy. The meeting also featured presentations on innovative governance efforts from various BJP-ruled states, such as Uttar Pradesh's rural secretariat scheme and Gujarat's solar energy initiatives.
