Madhya Pradesh CM Celebrates Unique Blend of Rakshabandhan and Tiranga Yatra in Mandla

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav participated in the joint event of Rakshabandhan and Tiranga Yatra in Mandla district, celebrating a unique blend of both occasions. Addressing the crowd, CM Yadav extended warm greetings to sisters and highlighted the festival's role in promoting women's empowerment.
Speaking to ANI, CM Yadav expressed his delight over the fervent celebrations, noting that around 3.5 lakh Rakhis from every household marked the event. He also praised the Tiranga rally, held ahead of Independence Day, as a beautiful event. CM Yadav reiterated his warm wishes for Rakshabandhan, stressing the importance of the occasion in Mandla.
On Friday, CM Yadav attended the 'Rani Durgavati Mahila Sarpanch Sammelan' and Rakshabandhan Program at his Bhopal residence. Women tied Rakhi to the Chief Minister and exchanged sweets. CM Yadav announced an additional Rs. 250 for women alongside the existing monthly aid, emphasizing the state's commitment to women's welfare. The event also featured state ministers and dignitaries.
