Union Ministers Connect with Youth Volunteers in New Delhi

Union Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports and Labour and Employment, Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya, and Union Minister of State for Youth Affairs and Sports, Raksha Khadse, interacted with a group of 500 youth volunteers in New Delhi on Wednesday. The event featured 400 National Service Scheme (NSS) volunteers and 100 MY Bharat volunteers from across the nation, invited as special guests for the Independence Day ceremony in 2024.
Expressing his admiration for the youthful energy and dedication, Dr. Mandaviya said, 'Our young volunteers are the true torchbearers of change and progress. Their enthusiasm and dedication to nation-building are inspiring.' He emphasized the cultural significance of service, stating, 'Service is part of our culture. Helping each other is ingrained in our upbringing. These values will aid you in overcoming challenges and building a developed India.'
Highlighting the importance of youth involvement in national development, Dr. Mandaviya urged the volunteers to continue their efforts in various fields. He mentioned initiatives like MUDRA Yojana, Start-Up India, and Khelo India that provide opportunities for youth to excel. The minister also encouraged the volunteers to visit significant landmarks in New Delhi.
