Raksha Bandhan, commonly known as Rakhi, is celebrated today. This traditional Hindu festival is dedicated to the bond between brothers and sisters, where sisters tie a rakhi around their brothers' wrists, and in return, brothers offer gifts as a token of love and care. The festival, deeply rooted in Indian culture, has been celebrated for centuries, with mentions in Hindu religious texts of sisters tying rakhi around their brothers' wrists for protection.
