An FIR was filed on Saturday against 12,000 unnamed and 51 identified individuals for allegedly clashing with police during a Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) rally in Ranchi. Among those named are BJP state president Babulal Marandi, former Union minister Arjun Munda, and MoS Defense Sanjay Seth, according to police.
The rally, dubbed the 'Yuva Aakrosh Rally,' was organized by the Bharatiya Janata Party's Jharkhand unit to protest against Chief Minister Hemant Soren's government. The event saw participation from prominent BJP leaders including Babulal Marandi, Arjun Munda, and Sanjay Seth.
During the rally, Union Minister Sanjay Seth highlighted the state's issues such as peak corruption, unemployment among youth, and concerns over women's safety. Seth emphasized that the Hemant Soren government must address these problems. With assembly elections approaching in Jharkhand, the BJP aims to hold the government accountable.
