Champai Soren said, 'Initially, I considered retirement but witnessing the enthusiasm among the workers and public, I decided to stay active in politics. I thought about forming a new organization but ultimately chose to join BJP due to the dynamics in Jharkhand.' He also expressed gratitude towards BJP leaders Narendra Modi and Amit Shah.
Reactions varied among political figures. Union Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi supported Soren's move, calling it the 'right alternative.' In contrast, JMM Leader Manoj Pandey criticized the BJP, claiming the party relies on leaders from other parties and has no significant figure of its own.
