BJP Leader Munna Sharma Shot Dead in Patna During Chain Snatching Attempt

BJP leader Munna Sharma was fatally shot by unidentified assailants during a chain snatching attempt in Patna on Monday, according to police reports. Sharma, a former BJP mandal president, was immediately transported to a hospital for treatment, but succumbed to his injuries.

Authorities stated that the attack occurred near a restaurant in Patna City around 6.15 am. Despite prompt efforts by his family to save him, Sharma passed away under medical care.

Chowk Police Station SHO Shashi Kumar Rana confirmed that CCTV footage from the vicinity is being scrutinized as part of an ongoing investigation. DSP Gaurav Sharma mentioned that evidence collected by the FSL team and a special police task force is being examined to identify suspects and uncover the motive behind the crime.
