A video purportedly showing Madhya Pradesh Labour Minister Mahendra Singh Sisodia warning that government employees who don't do people's work will be kicked out has gone viral on social media platforms. The minister, who was inducted in the Kamal Nath-led ministry last month, could not be contacted for comments.
The video shows his supporters shouting slogans hailing him after he made these remarks. "Jo karamchari adhikari paalan nahi karega, usko laat deke bahar kardiya jayega (Employees who do not follow the instructions (of seniors) will be kicked out), Sisodia is heard saying in the viral video. The apparent trigger for these comments were complaints about frequent power cuts from villagers of Hinotia in Guna district.
The video is said to form an event on the Agra-Mumbai road on December 31 when villagers met Sisodia. The Congress returned to power in Madhya Pradesh last month after ousting the Shivraj Singh Chouhan-led BJP government.
