In a commendation of the ongoing Maha Kumbh, Uttar Pradesh Minister Swatantra Dev Singh hailed the event as an 'incredible, green, and digital Kumbh,' orchestrated under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and guided by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The sacred congregation has attracted a massive number of devotees, all keen on taking a holy dip.

Further criticizing West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee for her remarks on the event, Singh labeled her as 'anti-Hindu,' predicting her political downfall akin to that of former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. He suggested that leaders with anti-Hindu sentiments were increasingly being rejected by the electorate.

Union Jal Shakti Minister CR Patil also praised PM Modi's efforts to prioritize the cleaning of the Ganga River during the festival. The Namami Gange initiative, he noted, has been successful, as evidenced by the increasing number of both Indian and foreign devotees flocking to Prayagraj. As the festival nears its conclusion on February 26, officials are gearing up for the final holy dip on Maha Shivratri.
