PM-KISAN's 19th Installment: Gujarat Farmers to Benefit at Nationwide Event

The 19th installment of the PM-KISAN Yojana will be released at the 'Rashtriya Kisan Samman Samaroh' in Bihar, with over Rs22,000 crore to assist 9.7 crore farmers nationwide. Simultaneously, Gujarat will host a 'Kisan Samman Samaroh' led by Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, featuring various agricultural developments and inaugurations.

The 19th installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) Yojana is set to be released at the 'Rashtriya Kisan Samman Samaroh' in Bihar. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the event remotely, while a state-level celebration will take place in Gandhinagar under Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel's leadership.

Agriculture Minister Raghavji Patel announced that over 9.7 crore farmers across India will receive a disbursement exceeding Rs22,000 crore directly into their bank accounts. In Gujarat alone, more than 51.41 lakh farmer families will benefit from Rs1,148 crore in assistance. The state event will also see the e-inauguration of the 'Krushi Pragati-Command and Control Center', and the initiation of procurement for pigeon pea at MSP across Gujarat.

'Kisan Samman Samaroh' ceremonies will occur across every district in Gujarat, featuring live broadcasts and participation of over 2.5 lakh farmers. Exhibition stalls showcasing FPOs and natural agricultural products will also be present. Since its inception, PM-KISAN has facilitated Rs3.46 lakh crore to over 11 crore farmers through 18 installments.
