PM Modi Assures Support for Telangana Tunnel Collapse Rescue Efforts

Prime Minister Narendra Modi assured Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy of full support from the Central government in rescue efforts after a tunnel collapse trapped eight workers. Disaster response teams are on-site as operations continue to save those trapped and aid the injured.

In response to a grave situation near Domalapenta in the Nagarkurnool district, Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached out to Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy following a roof collapse at the SLBC tunnel, which has trapped eight workers. Modi assured that the Central government would extend full assistance for the ongoing rescue operations.

The Chief Minister briefed the Prime Minister on every aspect of the incident. The Telangana CMO reported that eight workers remain trapped, with rescue efforts actively underway. Ministers Uttam Kumar Reddy and Jupally Krishna Rao are coordinating activities on-site, while an NDRF team has been dispatched to bolster rescue efforts, reaffirming the central government's commitment to cooperation.

Chief Minister Reddy is vigilantly overseeing developments, having ordered rapid action to locate the trapped workers. State officials, including the District Collector and SP, are closely monitoring operations. The CM has directed that all injured individuals receive prompt medical attention and has committed governmental support to affected families. Active disaster teams, SDRF and NDRF, are en route to the scene, ensuring all necessary measures are taken to manage this crisis.
