BJP's Rao Criticizes Opposition Over Three-Language Policy Dispute

In a fierce critique against opposition parties, BJP leader N Ramachander Rao on Tuesday condemned DMK and AIADMK for what he described as manipulative tactics over the three-language policy debate, accusing them of exploiting public sentiment on linguistic grounds for political mileage.

Rao extolled the virtues of the New Education Policy (NEP), highlighting its dual promotion of mother tongues alongside English, and described it as one of the best policies witnessed by the populace. He encouraged support for NEP, asserting that its benefits align with national interests.

Amidst this controversy, political dynamics took a turn as former actor-turned-politician Ranjana Nachiyaar tendered her resignation from BJP, protesting against forced language policies. Concurrently, AIADMK MP M Thambidurai criticized the ruling DMK, accusing it of leveraging the language issue as an electoral strategy.
