Delhi Assembly Tension: AAP MLAs Stage Dramatic Protest Over Suspension

The political temperature in Delhi soared as AAP MLAs staunchly opposed their suspension from the Vidhan Sabha, prompting an intense debate on legislative rights. Arvinder Singh Lovely from BJP justified the barring, claiming that allegations are the sole recourse for suspended AAP members.

BJP's Kailash Gahlot backed the decision, asserting that suspensions across parties have been a norm, recalling prior exclusions since 2015. He implied historical consistency in legislative practices, dismissing AAP's grievances as lacking novelty.

Meanwhile, Delhi minister Parvesh Verma labeled the protests as unprecedented, stressing that any disruption during official speeches is impermissible.
