Amid swirling rumors of political realignments, TMC National General Secretary and MP Abhishek Banerjee vocally dismissed speculations of him joining the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). At a recent gathering, Banerjee emphatically stated that even under duress, his allegiance would remain with Mamata Banerjee, underscoring his enduring commitment to the TMC.
Banerjee accused the BJP of spreading false narratives to create divisions but reassured his supporters of the TMC's resolve to counter BJP tactics. He expressed confidence that as long as TMC leaders remained united, they would successfully navigate political challenges.
In a parallel development, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee accused the BJP of electoral manipulation through fake voters on the rolls. She announced the formation of a committee to ensure integrity in the voter lists and appealed to the public for vigilance against such discrepancies, highlighting potential BJP strategies previously seen in other states.
