India Warns Pakistan: Tensions Mount as Operation Sindoor Unfolds

Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta warns Pakistan against further provocations post-Operation Sindoor. An all-party meeting was conducted to address the military action against cross-border terrorism. Defence and Home Ministers assured the unity of the nation and support for the Indian Armed Forces amidst rising Indo-Pak tensions.

Amid rising tensions between India and Pakistan in the aftermath of Operation Sindoor, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta issued a stern warning to Pakistan on Thursday. Emphasizing India's firm commitment to combating cross-border terrorism, Gupta cautioned that further provocations could lead to escalated military responses from Indian forces.

In her statement to the media, CM Gupta remarked, "Pakistan has recognized the gravity of the crime they committed by consistently spreading terrorism within India. Our government and army have responded decisively. If provocation continues, our armed forces are prepared to take even larger steps, backed by the united strength of 140 crore Indians."

Meanwhile, an all-party meeting convened by the Centre was held at the Parliament Annexe building to address the implications of Operation Sindoor. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and Home Minister Amit Shah briefed political leaders, including Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge and Lok Sabha LoP Rahul Gandhi, on India's decisive actions targeting cross-border terrorist operations.

Kiren Rijiju, the Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister, reiterated the need for national unity and support for the armed forces. "Our country has taken significant action with Operation Sindoor. All parties have been informed as per the PM's directive, underscoring our collective responsibility and solidarity with the military," Rijiju told ANI. Operation Sindoor involved strategic strikes against nine key terrorist infrastructure sites in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir, aiming to avenge the Pahalgam attack and dismantle major terrorist groups like Jaish-e-Mohammed and Lashkar-e-Taiba.
