Maharashtra and CBSE Boards Announce Impressive 10th Grade Results

Maharashtra and CBSE Boards have announced the results of their 10th board examinations, showcasing high pass percentages. Maharashtra's Konkan Division leads with 98.82%, while the overall state pass rate is 94.11%. CBSE reports a national pass rate of 93.66%, with Thiruvananthapuram at 99.70%. Girls outperformed boys in both boards.

On May 13, the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) announced the results of the 10th board examinations held in February-March 2025. The online announcement at 1 pm revealed that out of 15,58,020 registered regular students, 15,46,579 appeared, and 14,55,433 passed. The Konkan Division Board led with an impressive pass percentage of 98.82%, while Nagpur Division recorded the lowest at 90.78%. Other division pass rates include Kolhapur (96.87%), Mumbai (95.84%), and Pune (94.81%).

Girls outperformed boys in the Maharashtra 10th board exams with a pass percentage of 96.14% versus 92.31% for boys. The state's overall pass rate is 94.11%. Students can access their results online, marking a pivotal moment in their academic journey, whether they aim for higher education or career opportunities.

Meanwhile, CBSE declared its class 10th exam results, showing a 93.66% nationwide pass rate, 0.06% higher than the previous year. Thiruvananthapuram led with 99.70%, contrasting with Guwahati's 84.14%. The board highlighted that 95% of girls passed, surpassing boys by 2.37%.
