Delhi Police's North West District has successfully dismantled a major counterfeit Bisleri bottle operation, apprehending Sikander and Ashish from Shakurpur. The police seized counterfeit packaging materials, including 127 fake Bisleri stickers, 387 barcodes, and 20 liters worth of bottles. This operation followed a complaint from Bisleri representatives about illegal manufacturing and sales.

During the crackdown, various equipment such as heater guns and lighters were also confiscated. The accused have been charged under the Copyright Act. Additional actions have commenced against Vishal Gupta under the Environment Protection Act for supplying water for the manufacturing process. Investigations continue to root out further connections.

In another notable arrest, Delhi Police nabbed Asad Ali Abbas for cyber fraud. Abbas posed as a customer care executive, tricking individuals into downloading malicious APK files to gain unauthorized access to devices. A victim lost Rs 50,000 in this scheme. An investigation traced transactions and Abbas was caught in Kolkata, revealing a larger web of cybercrimes.
