Paying homage to police personnel who laid down their lives, he emphasized the role of law enforcement in safeguarding internal security and honored families of those who made the ultimate sacrifice.

Chief Minister Dhami announced several enhancements for the police force, including a Silver Jubilee Medal to honor the 25th anniversary of Uttarakhand's formation and a significant rise in the Police Welfare Fund. He also detailed plans for constructing residential buildings and barracks, signifying the state's commitment to modernizing its police infrastructure.

The Chief Minister highlighted ongoing efforts to fortify the police force. Over ₹500 crore has been allocated to infrastructure projects, and initiatives like cashless medical facilities and time-bound promotions are underway. Dhami emphasized the importance of tackling emerging crimes, praising the police for their effective action against drug trafficking and cybercrime under evolving criminal landscapes.
