IndiGo Airlines has found itself under scrutiny as flight cancellations and delays continue to leave passengers stranded at major airports across the nation. Nitin Jadhav, President of the Council of Indian Aviation, is demanding a CBI investigation into the causes of this disruption, pointing fingers at the IndiGo management and the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA).

In a statement to ANI, Jadhav stated, "The IndiGo management itself is responsible for this, not the pilots... The DGCA is supporting them. I am demanding a CBI inquiry into the DGCA and IndiGo. There is a hidden agenda behind this. The DGCA is not doing its work properly." He emphasized the toll on passengers, citing both physical and mental harassment.

Reacting to the ongoing situation, Union Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu Kinjarapu took to social media platform X to announce stern directives to the airline. The Ministry requires IndiGo to process refunds for disrupted flights by December 7, and to reunite passengers with their luggage within 48 hours. IndiGo has responded by offering automatic refunds and waivers on change fees for travel between December 5 and 15.
