The Ministry of New & Renewable Energy (MNRE) has addressed claims suggesting an advisory was issued to financial institutions to cease funding renewable energy projects. The MNRE clarified these assertions were unfounded, reaffirming its commitment to advancing India's renewable energy sector.

In light of these developments, the MNRE has communicated present domestic capacities in solar PV manufacturing to financial bodies, urging them to evaluate financing proposals wisely.
