Avaada Group announced on Tuesday its strategic collaboration with GRIDCO and IIT-Bhubaneswar to set up a Centre of Excellence for green hydrogen in Odisha. This venture aims to lead pioneering research in green hydrogen usage, addressing energy storage, industrial, and mobility applications.
The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) outlines Avada Group's commitment to creating a specialized research facility in Odisha. This facility, within Avaada's production unit, will be outfitted with technical teams dedicated to green hydrogen innovation, fortifying India's renewable energy sector.
Under this framework, GRIDCO will coordinate with MNRE and the Odisha government, ensuring effective funding and programme implementation. IIT-Bhubaneswar will offer academic partnership, providing essential resources and infrastructure to bolster this significant clean energy initiative.
