Ashika Investment Managers Pvt. Ltd. has officially launched the Ashika Mid & Small Cap Fund, after receiving approval from SEBI. This open-ended Category III AIF focuses on India's thriving mid- and small-cap sector, offering investors a platform for long-term wealth creation by targeting companies poised for earnings growth and valuation re-rating.
With a disciplined investment approach, the fund identifies enterprises with strong return ratios, prudent leverage, and high growth visibility. The threshold for investment includes companies with a market cap over ₹2,000 crore, an ROCE above 15%, and a growth potential exceeding 20%.
Co-CEO Ajay Arora emphasized the transformative potential of mid and small caps in India, citing their increasing scale, formalization, and profitability. Through comprehensive research and valuation discipline, the fund aims to select enduring performers that offer sustainable value creation.
