In a significant move to revolutionize India's educational landscape, AICTE Chairman Prof. TG Sitharam launched the Innovation, Design, and Entrepreneurship (IDE) Bootcamp for PM SHRI Schools via an online platform. The bootcamp is taking place simultaneously at 14 locations in 12 States, focusing on moving education beyond rote learning to empower students to think critically, design innovatively, and create effectively.

The IDE Bootcamp aims to equip educators with hands-on, product-oriented learning approaches, according to Prof. Sitharam. By incorporating design thinking and entrepreneurship into the educational fabric, this initiative seeks to establish enduring innovation practices in schools and nurture future-ready problem solvers.

Additional Secretary and Director of the Department of School Education and Literacy, Dheeraj Sahu, underscored the bootcamp's goal to provide principals and teachers with the necessary tools to promote innovation under the PM SHRI Schools project. Highlighting the collaborative effort, AICTE Vice Chairman Dr. Abhay Jere noted the initiative's success, reflecting strong partnership with the Ministry of Education's Innovation Cell, the Department of School Education, and the Wadhwani Foundation.
