Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu is set to make a historic appearance at the inaugural equipment erection of a massive USD 10 billion green hydrogen and ammonia complex in Kakinada, signaling a major leap for the state in clean energy initiatives.
AM Green, the force behind this pioneering project, aims to integrate Andhra Pradesh into the global green energy value chain. The facility, projected to create 8,000 jobs, will drive the state's economic growth, while advancing India's position as a significant exporter of green energy to countries including Germany, Japan, and Singapore.
This ambitious venture involves transforming an existing ammonia-urea complex through a phased development approach, eventually advancing to a production capacity of 1.5 MTPA by 2030. The project promises substantial contributions to allied sectors such as renewables and logistics, marking one of India's largest clean-energy investments.
