In a heartfelt post on social media platform X, the Prime Minister lauded the NDRF personnel for their unwavering professionalism and determination, emphasizing their pivotal role in disaster response and recovery efforts. Modi recognized the force's commitment to safeguarding lives and fostering hope during times of crisis.
Highlighting the global respect the NDRF has garnered, Modi described the force as a benchmark in disaster preparedness. Union Home Minister Amit Shah also paid tribute to the NDRF on their Raising Day, acknowledging their essential role in building a disaster-resilient India. The NDRF, established on January 19, 2006, consists of 16 battalions and multiple regional centers, strategically deployed to respond to both natural and man-made disasters nationwide.
