Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on Monday, expressed gratitude to the National Disaster Relief Force (NDRF) on their Raising Day. In a heartfelt post on social media platform X, the Prime Minister lauded the NDRF personnel for their unwavering professionalism and determination, emphasizing their pivotal role in disaster response and recovery efforts. Modi recognized the force's commitment to safeguarding lives and fostering hope during times of crisis.
Highlighting the global respect the NDRF has garnered, Modi described the force as a benchmark in disaster preparedness. The NDRF, established on January 19, 2006, consists of 16 battalions and multiple regional centers, strategically deployed to respond to both natural and man-made disasters nationwide.
