In a landmark event underscoring India's growing influence in the field of artificial intelligence, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the AI-India Impact Summit and Expo 2026 in New Delhi. The event, held at the Bharat Mandapam, is a significant gathering of global technology leaders, highlighting India's rapid technological advancements.

Set to run until February 20, the Expo showcases AI innovations across 10 arenas covering over 70,000 square metres. It features 13 international pavilions and attracts key players from governments, academia, startups, and tech giants. The event focuses on large-scale AI implementation in areas like precision farming and accessible education.

India's ambition to shape an inclusive and impactful AI future is evident with more than 600 startups displaying cutting-edge AI solutions tailored to India's diverse linguistic landscape. The summit, aiming to foster global collaborations, reflects India's position as a critical player bridging technology innovation and real-world impact.
