India is actively advancing its clean energy goals by focusing on green hydrogen, nuclear energy, and strengthening renewable sources, according to Union Minister Jitendra Singh.
Speaking at the World Hydrogen Energy Summit, Singh highlighted that India aims to create a robust, self-reliant ecosystem by enhancing research funding and fostering innovation-led growth.
The minister also shared that India intends to invest significantly in oil and gas, exploring vast areas while increasing the natural gas share to 15%. Emphasizing the role of green hydrogen in decarbonizing industries, Singh mentioned the nation is striving for 100 GW of nuclear power by 2047.
