Swift Response Saves 40 Homes as Fire Rages in Pilkhuwa

A devastating fire erupted in a slum cluster in Arjun Nagar, located in Hapur district's Pilkhuwa area, on Monday. The blaze rapidly spread to two adjacent industrial units, necessitating the deployment of eight fire tenders, according to fire department officials.
Fortunately, no casualties have been reported from the incident. Chief Fire Officer Ajay Sharma confirmed that swift action saved approximately 40 jhuggis as multiple fire tenders worked tirelessly to contain the inferno.
In a statement to ANI, Sharma said, "A fire broke out in a slum cluster here. With the help of 8 fire tenders, 40 'jhuggis' have been saved. The fire spread to two nearby industrial units. The fire is being brought under control." Authorities continue to monitor the situation as further information is awaited.
