In West Bengal, political tensions continue to escalate as Congress leader Udit Raj on Monday attributed the present unrest in the state to Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, accusing her of orchestrating attacks on Congress workers and obstructing their activities.

Rahul Gandhi has strongly condemned the death of Congress worker Debdeep Chatterjee, attributing it to attack by "TMC-affiliated thugs," while urging for immediate action against those responsible. Gandhi's statement highlights the alleged intimidation tactics by the ruling Trinamool Congress (TMC).

Despite the violence, Mamata Banerjee remains confident in her party's prospects, pointing to enthusiastic public support during recent campaign events. She described this support as a testament to the strong relationship forged over years, asserting that TMC's victory is imminent.
